Welcome

Maret School. It’s so much more than the beautiful campus nestled in the heart of the Nation’s Capital, more than the classrooms, stages, labs, and athletic facilities you’ll see when you visit our school. As you tour Maret, you’ll begin to sense that the scope and energy and opportunities that await you here extend well beyond 3000 Cathedral Avenue.

Nor is your Maret experience restricted to an 8:15 a.m. arrival and a 3:15 p.m. dismissal. A day in the life of Maret is organic, fluid, not limited to clocks, schedules, and facilities. With grades K–12 all on one campus, Maret is alive with activity from early morning to late night. Our stellar faculty members apply themselves to the art of teaching long after their workday has officially ended. Enthusiastic students engage in enriching, enlightening learning experiences at unexpected times and in unexpected ways, using their classroom lessons as a springboard for absorbing the world beyond the Maret School borders. Indeed, at Maret we like to view our school as borderless…and the education we offer timeless.

To get a sense of Maret’s rich, round-the-clock routine, I encourage you to peruse our website; you’ll quickly come to understand that there’s nothing “routine” about Maret at all.
