At a Glance

* Maret School, founded in 1911 by Swiss educator Louise Maret, is the only independent, coeducational, K-12, college preparatory day school located on a single campus in Washington, D.C. (History)

* Today the newly renovated, seven-acre campus offers easy access to the vast cultural and historic resources of the nation's capital.

* Our student body comprises children from the greater Washington metropolitan area as well as those from the international community. As a small school, Maret continually seeks different cultures, races, interests, perspectives, and economic backgrounds.

* The 2007-08 tuition is $23,295 for kindergarten-grade 4; $25,260 for grades 5-8; and $26,820 for grades 9-12. A tuition-payment plan and tuition insurance are both available as is financial aid, which is based solely on need.
