Service Learning

At Maret, we believe that our students, from our youngest kindergarteners to our graduating seniors, have much to give to their communities—and much to learn from them. In that spirit, our School has made a major commitment to promoting service learning throughout its curriculum. Service learning is an innovative teaching approach that incorporates projects in our community into traditional academic courses. Students use and build upon their academic and interpersonal skills as they engage directly with local and national organizations.

We believe that service learning directly supports the core of our educational mission: to prepare our studenst to be healthy, responsible, and informed adults who will play an active role in improving the world they will inherit.
