Director of Admission and Financial Aid
Beginning her 23rd year as Director of Admission and Financial Aid at Maret, Mrs. Farquhar has been a lacrosse coach, a ninth grade advisor, and has spent some summers in Florida with the Maret Sanibel program. In addition to working with families applying to the Lower School and chaperoning the annual 4th grade camping trip, Mrs. Farquhar is the parent of a current middle schooler and the wife of a Maret faculty member.
Associate Director of Middle School Admission
Mr. Scott has been a part of the Maret community since 1999 when he joined as the Band Director. In his time at Maret, Mr. Scott has also served as Assistant Director of the Middle School and is currently the Seventh Grade Dean. He also helps with social media outreach for Maret, is the proud parent of a Maret middle school student, and enjoys playing the trombone for the musicals at Maret.
Wellesley Wilson '04
Associate Director of Upper School Admission
A graduate of Maret in 2004, Ms. Wilson returned to Maret in 2008 as the Associate Director of Upper School Admission. In addition to her roles in the Admission Office, Ms. Wilson oversees the student tour guide program, is a ninth grade advisor, chaperones the 9th grade camping trip, and is a member of Maret’s Alumni Council, serving as the Vice-President of classes 2000-2010.
A graduate of Richard Montgomery High
School in 2006, Mr. Laniyonu joined
Maret as an Admissions Associate after graduating from the University of Maryland in 2010. Mr. Laniyonu, with the rest of the admissions
team, helps move prospective students and their families through the Maret
application process. He also helps to promote Maret’s outreach through social media and in other online venues.
Admission and Financial Aid Associate
A 2011 graduate of the University of Maryland, Mr. Holt is the newest member of Maret's admission team. He was introduced to the Maret community through his work in the Athletic Department and now works with families visiting and applying to the schools as well as assisting families with the financial aid process.
