- Our textbook recycling initiative has raised $1120 for Horizons and prevented 74 books from entering the landfill.

Maret was recently recognized as a Green Flag School.
- Maret won
the first ever D.C. area Green Schools Challenge and at the same time
reduced its Carbon Footprint by 15,000 pounds.
- There are lots of
new green features on Maret's campus like petroleum free plastic cups,
biodegradable hot beverage cups, dual-flush toilets, and waterless
urinals.
