Music at Maret
The music program at Maret serves as vital links within the curriculum throughout all grades. Each class allows students to explore their individual creative talents and to develop their own artistic technique.
The music program teaches an appreciation and understanding of music and valuable performance skills starting in kindergarten. It integrates computer technology and music composition beginning in the Middle School. Students in all music classes perform frequently at school. Middle and upper school bands and choruses also perform off campus.
The rich variety of options and advanced and independent study courses in the arts instill in our students the self-reliance to fully explore their talents.
