Maret in Ethiopia

In the spring of 2006, as the culmination of their history service learning project, the ninth grade at Maret raised enough money to sponsor four children through Hope for Children, an Ethiopian community-based non-profit that supports over 700 AIDS orphans in Ethiopia. After spending part of last summer in Addis running an English program at Hope for Children, Humanities teacher Carol Rhees brought back their stories. Read more
