Arabic

In the year-long Arabic 1 course, students learn Modern Standard Arabic, the language of formal speech and most printed materials in the Arab-speaking world. They develop a beginning proficiency in writing the Arabic alphabet, and reading and speaking the language.

Arabic 2, also a year-long course, continues the introduction to Modern Standard Arabic. Students gain increased proficiency in basic communication skills through frequent oral and written drills.

Arabic is open to students in Grades 9–12
