Civil Liberties Class at the Kennedy center

Murugi Njoroge

To cap off the Civil Liberties elective's first plunge into the US Constitution and to celebrate National Constitution Day (September 17), the class attended a performance of "What the Constitution Means to Me" at the Kennedy Center. Students loved how this show wove together the historical, political, and personal, and how brilliantly it showed the continuing, deep impact of words written over 200 years ago in a wildly different America.
