Coach Mark St. Germain is in his tenth year at Maret School. In addition to serving as Head Coach for the Boys Lacrosse team, he also teaches lower and middle school Physical Education, coaches middle school football, serves as an academic advisor in the upper school, and is a member of the Upper School Admissions Committee.

Coach St.Germain began coaching and teaching in 1992, serving as a teacher and head boys lacrosse coach at St. Stephen’s and St. Agnes School in Alexandria, Virginia. Over the past 30 years, he has coached and taught at Flint Hill School, Saint John Paul the Great Catholic High School, and St. Albans School. His lacrosse teams have played in two state championships and Coach St. Germain helped guide St. Albans to an IAC Championship in both lacrosse and football in 2007 as an assistant coach.

Coach St.Germain has worked tirelessly with dozens of student-athletes who have gone on to play at top-tier colleges in both the Division III and Division I levels.
