This camp is geared towards 8-12 graders with previous basketball experience, looking to gain more experience and knowledge. The camp will be skills based with some small sided play to focus on basketball IQ. Players will learn about goal setting in their sport and have measurable goals for the week.There will also be a conditioning piece to enhance the training element. Athletes must wear appropriate clothing and shoes
 
Please note:
  • Participants should provide their own lunch (that does not need to be refrigerated) and a water bottle.
  • We do not offer before or after care for summer camps.

Camp Director

Brooke Wilson is a DMV resident who split her high school career between Sidwell Friends School and Eleanor Roosevelt High School where she competed as a three-sport athlete in volleyball, basketball, and track and field. Locally, she was the volleyball player of the year in Prince George's County and was a two-time first team all-Met selection and two-time state champion in basketball her junior and senior seasons. She went on to play basketball at the George Washington University finishing with an undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice, a graduate certificate in Leadership Development, and a master’s degree in Education and Human Development. She has been working as a physical education teacher and coach at Maret since 2015.
