Immersion I (Session 3):
Campers will be immersed in the Spanish language through fun activities that include cooking, music, dance, art, and stories from countries around the world! Campers spend their days both indoors and outdoors, engaging with peers, playing, learning, and developing skills that help them become global citizens.
Immersion II (Session 5):
Campers continue their immersion in the Spanish language by cooking, dancing, creating art, and listening to music and stories from countries around the world! Campers spend their days both indoors and outdoors, engaging with peers, playing, learning, and developing skills that help them become global citizens. It doesn't matter if it is your child's first or second week in this camp since we travel to different countries daily.
Please note:
- Participants should provide their own lunch (that does not need to be refrigerated) and a water bottle.
- We do not offer before or after care for summer camps.
Camp Directors
Erika Delgado teaches Spanish in the Upper School at Maret and is a former lower school Spanish teacher. She has twenty three years of experience as an educator, a master’s degree in foreign language education, and has been teaching at Maret for nine years. Born and raised in Puerto Rico, Ms. Delgado has taught students across all grade levels, from first through twelfth grade.
