If your child likes to play, have fun, and engage in friendly competition, then this is the camp for them! The bulk of the day will feature a variety of sports and games, board games, friendly tournaments, and a short movie or sports clip. Basketball, soccer, Wiffle ball, dodgeball, Stone Tag, capture the flag, footgolf, and Spikeball are examples of some of the outdoor games that will be played. Many of the classic board games will be covered, as well as new favorites like Ticket to Ride, Werewolves of Miller’s Hollow, Mysterium, and Spy Alley. There will also be three “water days” during the week that will include a giant squirt gun and water balloon fight. In addition to the joy of play, sportsmanship and teamwork will be a constant theme throughout the week. Participants will have many opportunities to practice their sportsmanship skills and reflect on how to be a supportive teammate. No athletic or game experience is necessary. Space is limited to 18 students each week.

In an effort to be equitable, please select a single session (either Week 2 or Week 3) per camper to participate in the Wide World of Sports & Games camp.
